We do get a lot of comments. So in order to block spam and harmful viruses, all our comments are monitored and approved before they are published.
Not all comments get approved and we reserve the right not to publish them should, in our opinion, they breach our policy below.
Our general policy on comments is to publish those that make a factual point relating to the article or news story in a way that encourages interesting debate and which will help readers' understanding of the topic.
Comments that 'rant', use bad language, do not address the point or don't print their name are generally not published.
We may also limit the number of comments from the same source or campaign that repeat the same point.
We reserve the right to edit comments in the interest of clarity and reader interest. While there is no strict word count comments should be kept to around 150 words.
Any comment that is being posted to advertise another service is prohibited.
