Our Editorial Policy
Our aim is to provide British expats with a single source of reliable, up-to-date, relevant, financial information produced in plain English in an interesting and engaging way. As well as being authoritative, we hope our tone is both friendly and supportive. We also aim to be
- Educational – this is the main focus of ExpatMoneyChannel.com. We want our articles, TV, Podcasts and Masterclass to both impart up to date information and leave you with the right amount of knowledge to make you feel confident about your personal finances.
- Inclusive – Every element of the site is designed to ensure viewers have a range of formats to dip into. For example, clicking on an article gives you a range of options such as the ability to make a comment, ask a question on the forum or to our panel of experts; watch an associated video, listen to an associated podcast, links up associated topics or news.
- Engaging – By giving you the option to become part of a community through forums, polls and survey participation, post up your own stories and experiences such as our facility to rate providers based on customer experiences.
- Independent - The site is written and maintained by journalists. We do not work for any financial companies so you can rest assured that the information you see is independent. (Also see our advertising policy)
