Karen specialises in international tax and trust planning. She acts for a broad range of clients including international families, entrepreneurs, investment bankers, offshore trustees, banks and financial institutions. Karen advises on complex UK and offshore structures as well as on UK tax issues relating to non-domicile status, immigration and emigration.She also advises on US/UK tax planning issues and on investment products.

Before joining Maitland in 2011, Karen was a partner at Boodle Hatfield and LG respectively. In 2010 she was named by City Wealth as one of the Top 20 Women in Private Wealth Management and one of the Top 20 Lawyers.
